Her reply was non-offensive and well... pleasant. I was thrown off by her remark about how my domain was "off to a great start." Thanks, but no thanks. Its been around for half a year (yeah laugh), but I think I have stuff slightly more interesting than fan sites and an uneccesarily long bio with likes and dislikes. I still stick to my mentality about the "me" parts: I don't give a damn about you if theres nothing on your site. First of all, Front page serves my needs as a designer. I alter my images in Photoshop, and insert them onto my page. I write my stories in Word, and put them onto my page as well. Sometimes I add some small effects like image flips or dhtml. Some people argue that front page is an "easy way out." A way to escape learning html/dhtml/javascrip/css. I say, if you can create the same section of html in half the time, why not use an easy editor? Its not like I'm "cheating" anyone. I never claimed to write my html by hand. I've never said I was fluent in html, or that my site took longer to make than most others. I do, however, think that the quality of the page depends on the person designing it, not the program they used to design it. My site is not what I spend the majority of my time doing. I don't rely on knowing html as a source of income. I don't charge money to design sites. Front page has worked fine for me, and I expect that it always will. Her design isn't great, neither is this one, but that isn't the reason people come to her site. She seems quite notorious for her narcisisstic personality with someone at cattygoths. I'm sure her views on "ugly people" inspire a lot of confidence in others for the future generation. "Unattractive people should not breed, I believe. I think unattractive people should live their lives in utter desolation and die alone, thereby eliminating their ugly genes from the gene pool." I find that a little wierd to swallow. I'm sure people have dissected this for long and enough. Its not worth it. This chick obviously thinks she knows more than she does. She's wrapped up all of human existence (at least as far as evolution is concerned) into a two page essay. I don't think she's ever wondered how horribly contaminating "ugly people" came to exist in the first place. Well, anyway, I'm glad she's here to straighten this all out for us. (or not). I'm begining to question Love's reasons for seeking out such a host. Kind of makes you wonder. I will probably go to kinko's tomorow or sometime in the future to scan pictures for my next layout. In between, when I get my computer running again, I'll put up a new version that is basically the same as the one I have up now, just to keep you interested. (HAH!) Their current one isn't so bad. I didn't like this one too much. I love infective though, their projects, hostees, Legless and Click's site. If any two people know how to design a domain, keep it interesting, mature and thoughtful with a wonderful design, its the two owners, Kat and Click (Sorry, I'm not sure what her real name is). This is my favorite hostee of theirs. This guy's design is quite original. I haven't seen anything like it recently (or ever?) Its slow, takes too long to load, and... takes TOO long to load. Thats the most annoying thing about it. It might be understandable if there actually was alot to load, but all a typical guestbook has on it is a colored backround, some tables, and some text. Its NOT THAT HARD. I'm going to make one similar to gbook for my next guestbook. Maybe I'll call it something clever. frostylips.com has a nice guestbook format. I might want to peek at her source and see what she has. Yesterday, I went to my friendly neighborhood 24 hour savings place, WINCO and bought some shrimp and squid(it was really cuttlefish... those bastards!) chips. I need a scanner so I could show you the unending cool-ness of the Japanese bags they came in. You might be able to find something like it at the asian market. It was about 85F and the smell of heating strawberries was like a immovible cloud. The owners of the patch didn't even have anyone at the field.
